Petsearch.gr is a non-profit project that uses AI to help every little animal return home.
Challenge
If you have a pet that you lost at some point you know how hard it is to find it. That’s what PetSearch wanted to solve!
Solution
We designed a web app that makes it as easy as possible to report a lost pet. Whether you lost or found one.
Impact
Almost 1.000 lost pets were reported within the first month.
STEP 1
Understand the problem
If we wanted to create a product that’s useful and helps people find their pets we had to learn more about the current solution and why it’s not working.
As we found out, most people were using Facebook groups to post about a lost/found pet.
The process was hard, it took too much time and the chance of not finding your pet was high due to the post being lost.
STEP 2
Design the product
The way we decided to solve this problem was to design a 3-step form, where the user could report a lost pet.
The form had to work effortlessly so we divided it into 3 steps, making each step as easy and quick to complete as possible.
STEP 3
Creating the landing page
After completing the design of the main product we had to create a landing page for the users to learn more about PetSearch.
The product received almost one thousand reports of pets that were lost in the first month!
